About Baytree

BAYTREE is a spacious Victorian house, quiet, but centrally located overlooking Blenheim Gardens, Minehead, in Somerset. Baytree provides guests with every comfort, offering excellent quality B & B accommodation. Its location is at the bottom of North Hill with a 5 minute level walk, to the sea front and all amenities that the commercial town area has to offer. Five minute walk to the start of the South West Coastal Path. Ideal for walkers and cyclists.

The town itself has many attractions, including a long seafront promenade which is lit up at night, a picturesque harbour, a wide sandy beach, a golf course, and many attractive shops and restaurants. We are very fortunate to have excellent live entertainment, all year round, at The Regal Theatre, here in Minehead. The unique paddle steamer “Waverley” and motor vessel “Balmoral” call here regularly offering seasonal trips along the beautiful Somerset and North Devon coastline, visiting both Ilfracombe and Lundy Island. Local coach trips are also available and some of these are made in vintage coaches offering a reminder of a bygone era. You may of course prefer to just stay here in this lovely seaside town and enjoy the beauty of Minehead itself.
